Why the need for a Career & Technical Education (CTE) credential?
Under the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE) Rules and Regulations governing credentialing, all secondary and postsecondary teachers that teach in a Colorado Community College System (CCCS) approved program must hold a valid credential. A credential ensures that the CTE program provides students with well qualified instructors possessing appropriate occupational and educational experience.
We have recently changed the credentialing process from credentialing by program to credentialing by pathway. Before you begin, please review the definition of a Pathway. Then select the option below that best meets your needs.
