Colorado has placed a strong emphasis on the development and improvement of a seamless system of education that ensures ease in student transition from secondary to postsecondary education levels and from one educational system to another. Articulation options are a critical component of this seamless system. These options include but are not limited to Articulation Agreements, Concurrent Enrollment & Advanced Credit Pathways. Resources for each of these options are provided below.
Articulation agreements will continue to support seamless transition models between secondary schools and postsecondary colleges and universities that provide students with a non-duplicative sequence of instruction leading to diplomas, certificates and/or degrees. Agreements can be local, connecting a single program or set of district programs with a college or multiple colleges or statewide, connecting all secondary programs with participating colleges.
According to the Perkins Act of 2006 Articulation Agreements must be reviewed annually.

The purpose of ACP is to provide college credit for equivalent learning at the secondary level in career and technical education that aligns with the criteria established in Perkins IV and the development of Plans of Study. For full details on how to take advantage of ACP click here.
