If you are applying for a Credential for the first time, you will need some information before you start:

• Select a Pathway that you need to be credentialed in. If you do not know what pathway to choose, please contact your CTE Administrator, CCCS Program Director or Credentialing Officer.
• Review the specific criteria to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications for education and occupational hours.
• Submit the completed, required forms (Credentialing Application - Postsecondary and the Occupational Experience forms), supporting documents and fees to the postsecondary institiution of employment.

If you are applying to change from an Initial (or Provisional) three (3) year credential to a Professional five (5) year credential, please submit the completed, required renewal form, any supporting documents and fees to CCCS .

If you are applying to renew a current credential, please submit the completed, required Renewal or Reinstatement Application - Postsecondary, supporting documents and fees to the postsecondary institution of employment.

If you are applying to renew a current credential and are planning to add an additional Pathway, please submit the completed, required forms Renewal or Reinstatement Application - Postsecondary and the Occupational Experience” forms), supporting documents and fees to the postsecondary institution of employment.
