The following assurances are required for each program. Please make sure that your program is in compliance with each of these items. You will be responsible for providing evidence of each of these upon request from a program director or in case of an audit or monitoring visit. Maintain all documentation for seven years. If you have any questions, please contact a Program Director.
All students have an equal opportunity to participate in this program.
The program provides information and training to prevent gender bias/discrimination and complies with all Title VI, Title IX and Section 504 requirements.
The program prepares students for advanced education or entry level employment.
Strategies are in place to recruit students who reflect the ethnic composition of the community.
The program will establish an Advisory Committee that meets all requirements as outlined in section II 4.04 of the Administrators Handbook
The instructor(s) will have the appropriate postsecondary Career and Technical Education (CTE) credential for the program. (Add link to CIP defined credential)

The program will be in compliance with the Common Course Numbering System.

Advisory Board is made up of 51% from business and industry.
The instructor(s) is licensed for secondary education by Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
The instructor(s) have the appropriate Career and Technical Education (CTE) credential for the program.
There will be articulation agreements in place by the time a student completes the program.
The program provides opportunities for students to participate in work-site based learning (i.e., co-op, internship, externship, apprenticeship, clinical based, supervised experience)

There will be a Five Year Plan on file that describes the program's strengths and weaknesses, defines the program's goals for the next five years, includes the results in the attainment of the program's established benchmarks, and includes the concept of continuous improvement over the next five years.

For a program request to be approved there must be an advisory committee in place of at least 5 members that meets a minimum of 2 times per year. If this program request is audited, meeting minutes will need to be provided and advisory committee members may be contacted. Keep on file a current list of all advisory committee members, including contact phone number, occupational title and place of employment.
