| Interior Design | This year long course is designed for students who are interested in learning and applying the principles and elements of art and design to home and commercial decorating. The student will examine architectural styles in homes and furnishings and how they relate to interior design careers. Topics to be studied include architectural styles, period furniture styles, wall and floor coverings, window treatments, color schemes and accessories. Throughout this course of study students are given opportunities to apply design principles and knowledge of materials, appropriate use of accessories while developing their skills in presentation techniques. | 140 | ||
